When we have a new problem, there is a temptation to start using more advanced tools to solve it. However, often, we end up applying a more powerful tool to “fix” the symptoms of the problem: instead of solving the root of the problem.
It is difficult to guarantee that we can find the solution to a problem. But, in my opinion, we are more likely to do so when:
- we delve into the problem until we find its root
- we apply the simplest solution that solves the root problem.
