What does this post need from me?

Today I started editing the next post for the Gestalt Garden. Most likely I will be able to publish it in two or three days :-)

Starting to write this post has taken me a lot of preparation work beforehand. I have needed to dig deep until I got to the point where I felt comfortable to start writing.

However, not all the posts I write require so much preparation. In fact, there are situations where too much preparation is counterproductive. For example, if I want to write something personal, it works much better for me to prepare almost nothing and just write and see what comes out.

My intention is to start approaching the writing process differently. To start asking myself, “What does this particular entry need from me?”
