I'm going to do a writing workshop

Learning to enjoy writing is one of the best decisions of my life.

Writing is a cross-cutting skill that allows you to enhance many aspects of your life: from being able to communicate better, to being able to think better. However, learning to enjoy writing is not easy. Or, at least, it wasn’t for me.

That’s why I’ve decided that I want to teach a writing workshop.

Why make my own workshop instead of recommending one that already exists?

Today, thanks to the Internet, the knowledge of humanity is more accessible than ever to anyone. However, this is not enough. There are people who are not aware that there is a limitation in their lives. People that only you and I have the possibility to connect (physically, socially or emotionally) with them.

My workshop, and everything I write, is to connect with those people.

What is the theme of the workshop?

Writing blog posts.

Blog posts are a good place to start writing. On the one hand, they are a general format that can be useful for many different types of people. On the other hand, the tools and tips you need to write blog posts can also be applied to other writing projects such as writing a book, a fiction story, or even an email.

What is the content of the workshop?

The content of the workshop will be an extended and improved version of my post on how to start (enjoy) writing.

Can I sign up?

At the moment, unfortunately, no.

I prepared the material for the workshop last week—which is why I didn’t have time to post an article in the Gestalt’s Garden. And, although I could jump right into doing the workshop in public, I have decided to make it easy for myself and do a first session of the workshop with a group of people I trust.

It is true that I have done workshops in the past, but this will be the first time online and I want to make sure that all the technical aspects work well.

The good news is that, in November or December, I will be doing a second round of the workshop that you will be able to join if you want.
