Writing requires concentration
I’m close to finishing reading “Deep Work”.
Overall, I’m really liking this book. Furthermore, I think it has come at an ideal time in my life. I was having a hard time writing lately. This situation, as I have already commented in previous notes, can be due to different causes:
- I have increased the quality goal of my posts
- I am testing new workflows
- I am organizing my move to Spain (which takes a lot of my energy).
However, “Deep Work” reminded me of something I had forgotten: writing requires concentration. And to reach the right level of concentration, in my case, I need to do writing sessions of 40 to 50 minutes without distractions.
Now I have organized my writing sessions in this way and I fell how I am moving forward at a good pace in my writing again.
Most likely I will be able to publish the post on the Bullet Journal methdod in the Gestalt Garden this Friday :-)
